Langley Market Snapshot October 2021
Once again, we have had another month with below-average new listings and above-average sales, which continues to put strong upward pressure on home prices. The Fraser Valley real estate remained solid in October, and overall sales were the third-highest on record. Many Buyers have been searching for months for their next home without success. Some may not be seeing what they like, and perhaps, some have been writing offers and unsuccessful getting that “winning bid.” Larry Anderson, President of the FVREB, said, ” Now, more than ever is the time when buyers and sellers alike must rely on their Realtor to guide and advise them in considering all available options….” I couldn’t agree more with Larry. Ensuring you have the right Realtor in your corner is more important now than ever. When choosing a Realtor, make sure they have expertise in the area and know the keys to success when creating a solid offer.
The real estate market does not seem to be slowing down, and with the low inventory and demand for homes, it’s not likely to. Baldev Gill, Chief Executive Officer from the FVREB, said, ” Fraser Valley is a top destination currently in BC for Buyers looking for relatively affordable family-sized homes.”
Many families have begun looking at selling in Langley and moving farther east to more affordable areas. If you have thought about this, I would be more than happy to chat about those options and put you into excellent hands in your desired locations. I also enjoy working all through the Fraser Valley and would love to talk about other unique communities that are growing and family-friendly if that is an option for you.
Over 30 homes sold this year already!
Ashley cannot thank her clients enough for their continued support and trust.
